History of Rockingham Pottery
Rockingham Pottery is famous for many beautiful pieces of pottery including the triple spur piece you can see on our
home page. In 1830 King William IV commisioned a 200 piece dessert service for the Royal Household, which cost £5,000.
Griffin Mark
The griffin mark, in red or puce oftern with the words "Manufacturer to the King" is to be found on many pieces of Rockingham
from 1830 to 1841.
